Helga Wretman
Helga Wretman was born in Stockholm on October 19, 1985. She was raised in an artist’s family and was educated in dance early. As a child she already acted in opera productions (e.g. in “Norma” by James Robinson) at the Royal Swedish Opera. Between 2001 and 2005 Helga Wrettmann completed her dance formation at the Royal Swedish Ballet School with focus on contemporary and modern dance. In addition to that she took classes in Jazz dance, Character dance and the Duncan technique. Yet during her education she performed in various productions, e.g. at the Dansens Hus and at the Royal Philharmonic Hall Stockholm and danced in several choreographies of the D-Company.
Since she moved to Berlin in 2006 she performed in the production “Best Before” by Tomi Pasonen and in “Which one would you like” by Paul Julius, and she also took part in diverse art projects. At the end of the year she acted as body double in the film “Prince Eduardo” by Anna Justice, at the beginning of 2007 she was dancer and leading character in the film “The Beauty and the Beast” by Stephen Dwonsky.
